Downloading is easy, fast and costs less than purchasing a CD & paying for shipping costs while waiting for your music to arrive. We provide many of our CDs as "digital versions". You can download them to your computer then straight into your iPod or MP3 player.
Each is offered in MP3 format in a non-stop mixed version. Just like a DJ mixes. Having it in a single MP3 file prevents skips and breaks that can happen when you download a CD yourself on a song by song basis.
Plus it's cheaper because we save the manufacturing costs and pass them on to you. And you get your music within minutes after you purchase.

WHAT IS ALL THIS TALK ABOUT MP3s?
Currently, MP3 is the most widely used format for storing digital music on computer hard drives and digital media players. It is fast becoming a household word like CD, DVD and Cassette. Why? MP3 technology provide the user with all the quality of the older audio formats with a number of advantages : smaller file size, portablility, high quality , ability to make personal backups.
WHAT DOES MP3 STAND FOR?
MP3 is actually short for MPEG-1 audio layer 3. Without getting too technical, MPEG refers both to the organization, the Moving Pictures Experts Group, which sets certain standards for the compression of digital video and audio, and to the compression itself. Compression takes a file ( text, pictures, and songs) and , like its most common definition, makes it smaller.
A normal, un compressed CD digital song is about 50 megabytes (MBs) in size. And you can only fit around 14 of these songs on a CD, It would take about 35 floppy disc to hold the data of one CD song in the raw CD format. At this size, you would have to carry around a large crate of 100 CDs to have unrestricted access to your music collection.
Now, what if you could make these large audio files much smaller with the same sound quality and store then all in one location? Well, that is what MP3 does.
MP3 is a particular type of compression that allows for near CD quality audio compression at a 12:1 ratio. This means that once compressed using the MP3 algorithm, a five-minute, 50-MB song is now only about 4.2 MBs - one twelfth ( 1/12) the original size resulting in a file without any significant or noticeable decrease in sound quality.
These files can be stored on your computer’s hard drive, or on any number of Digital Music Players including the extremely popular iPod. You can easily convert and transfer your entire collection of music CDs to a Digital Music Player the size of your thumb. You will never be without your music. You no longer need to worry about scratching your favorite CD because you can always have backups of your MP3’s available if you accidentally lose one.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING MP3 TECHNOLOGY OVER CDs WHILE WORKING OUT?
Built in Shock Protection - jogging , running and even fast walking can make the average CD player skip during a song. The sensitive laser reader of a CD player and other multiple moving parts can not only cause skips, interrupting the flow of your workout, but can also damage the CD players.
Lightweight and compact: Carrying a CD player in your hands or on your waist can be a little cumbersome and often restrictive, leaving you with a less than optimal workout. Most MP3 players are abut the size of your index finger and weigh no more than 4oz.
Longer battery Life: Since there are no moving parts in most MP3Players, battery charge life can be as long as 14 continuous hours without a recharge. Most players including the iPod have built in rechargeable battery packs eliminating the need to buy new batteries every weeks.
HOW DO I GET COMPATIBLE MUSIC TO USE ON AN MP3 PLAYER?
1. Convert your new and existing CDs.
Downloading ( Ripping)
Downloading Music, also knows as “Ripping” , to your computer or Digital Music Player is easy. You may already have software on your computer that can do this for you. The standard Windows Media Player software on a PC system has a ripping function that can convert your single song albums to a number of Digital formats including MP3 and WMA ( Windows) Media Audio – a Microsoft proprietary compression similar to MP3 technology. The iTunes free software, available at www.itunes.com has a built in Ripping functionality.
2. Purchase new music online.
Downloading from Digital Music stores.
With higher speed internet connections, it is easier than ever to purchase and download single songs and albums with online stores like Apple’s iTunes in a matter of minutes.
I’ve Imported my music to my computer, I’ve purchased songs from Digital Music Stores. How do I get them onto my Digital Music Player.
Each manufactures has a slightly different method to transfer music from your computer to your device. Most require that you have a USB port on your computer so that a cable can be connected from this port directly to the Digital Music Player for easy transfer between the Computer and the Device. If you purchased your computer in the last 4 years, you more than likely have USB ports.
I’VE IMPORTED NON-STOP CDS AND TRANSFERRED THEM TO MY MP3 PLAYER, BUT NOW I HEAR SHORT BREAKS BETWEEN SONGS WHEN I PLAY THEM. CAN THIS BE FIXED?
Yes. If you have the latest version of iTunes, this is no longer a problem. Apple’s iTunes has added a feature called “Gapless Playback”. Now music ripped to or played on iTunes/iPod will play non-stop albums without the small gap. For most non-iPod players, all albums purchased on WorkoutMusic.com will play gapless due to a special way we encode the MP3 files. Still, some older players and even some newer players still won’t play each track seamlessly. That’s why we also offer a version of every album with all tracks combined into one single MP3 file.
WHAT ELSE CAN I USE MY MP3 PLAYER FOR?
1. With an extra cord or adaptor you can plug your MP3 player into your home entertainment system to play the music through your Home Stereos speakers. You can even play your music collection in your car with a simple adaptor avaialabel at retail stores everywhere.
2. Most Digital Music Players can also be used as external Hard Disc drive for your data files, digital photos and more. You can move, copy and even backup important computer files with the click of a mouse.
Some Digital Music players also play your personal videos, downloadable Television shows and can also hold digital photo albums.
